Up and Coming

Greetings to you all and I wish you all the best in health for 2026!

It has been a while. My job took ate my time, two years being in a extremely busy work environment with little time left for research.

Add on that my mom passsed away a short while ago late last year and that in conjunction with her estate took a fair bit of my focus as well.

Facebook deleted my Prayer Man page due to some suspicious activity of which I never got an explanation of what that actually was. I started a new one as my messages to them got no replies. If you wish to like or follow the new page, it is HERE.

So what else is new?

KRLD, the local Dallas radio & TV station and CBS affiliate was omni present that day, they recorded a lot of audio and film that weekend.  I have posted a significant amount at my YouTube channel already. These clips were passed on to me by Kenneth Zediker, of JFK Lancer. And boy is it a great collection. These are in 4K quality and the totality of it is probably about 20 hours. KRLD had two cameras on tripods inside the third floor corridor of the City Hall building, where the DPD had some of their offices, after Oswald was being transfered to for his interrogations. There are quite a few long sequences of activity there. The footage show the comings and goings of camera men (Jimmy Darnell being one of them), reporters (Seth Kantor), law enforcement (Curry, Fritz, Leavelle and many others), Dallas City offficials (Wade & Alexander) and in the distance you can see people going in and out of Room 317 which was the Homicide & Robbery Bureau. In the William Murray photo below; Will Fritz’s office is inside on the right where David Johnston is standing in front of the window with its blinds shut and the DPD detectives are in the doorway.

The beauty of these clips lies that they can confirm what I have been already writing about in my book based on the law enforcement officials’ reports.  And this will be quite a task to go through, but it has been very rewarding already.

A few things I can mention is that I came across an Oswald corridor sequence which I did not know of before. Curry, Fritz, King and Wade interviews. The Ruby shooting from a different angle. The Oswald press conference. But the most fascinating fact of this footage is that it feels like going through CCTV footage where you see all these dozens (not hundreds!) of people walking that corridor, the mannerisms (smoking!) on display and the off the cuff remarks while the mic is on and close-by. At some point the phrase Manchurian Candidate is uttered between newsmen.

This brings me to one of its disadvantages, and that is that microphones were wired and not always switched on so or not close enough to capture their voices. There are some sequences where no audio is captured. One example is a minutes long segment with Bill Alexander talking to a few reporters right in front of the camera, it would have been quite a coup capturing his audio while ‘informing’ the press.

I will speak about this footage at the next DPUK seminar in Ashorne Hill (June 26-28) and following that I will add these findings, alongside some many other bits, to the next edition of Prayer Man, More Than A Fuzzy Picture. I have no clue as to when that will be done, in case you are wondering when that might be. All I can say, at this point, is that I have about 100 additional sources to add.

Then from the recent releases, and I mean recent as in getting barely any mention in the press about them at all Malcolm Blunt pointed me to the missing FBI documents residing at Rex Bradford’s Mary Ferrell website. These are most interesting, not much regarding my own research, but really deserve a closer look as there is a fair bit to check out.

And there was about three weeks ago a little email exchange between some the JFK Assassination research bigwigs and one indivdual had noted that the amount of documents released last year in March had increased in totality. No news update or mention about it as far as I can tell. And after checking 137 PDFs had been added to the total of the March 2025 releases. These records mostly concern records of the Church Committee.  So the first 14 pages are new additions. Just so you know.

Last but not least, I was interviewed last week for Ciphered Past by Tim Gardner and Eli Frame. Thank you for having me.

With thanks to Peter Antill for the photographs.

And here is the video of it, added Nov 24th.

Roger Craig 1969

Roger Craig of the Dallas sheriff department is one of the guys who did not cooperate with everyone else in law enforcement about the happenings of investigating the J.F.K. assassination and ended up becoming an outcast who ultimately paid the highest price for it.

My personal research into Roger Craig has been limited to the assassination weekend, especially his observation of seeing Oswald leaving the T.S.B.D. and after that his visit to room 317 of Robbery & Homicide and pointing Oswald out as the person he saw running down the grass and getting into a Nash Rambler.  Room 317 was Will Fritz’s fiefdom.  I have been writing about this before in my Anatomy Of Lee Harvey Oswald’s Interrogations paper (pages 96-102).

During the 56th anniversary of the assassination there were two conferences in Dallas happening, one was CAPA, the other was Judyth Vary Baker’s shindig.

I was watching some of the live feed on YouTube, to me about the only positive thing of that conference and I thought the panel talk of Steve Cameron, who had a new book on Craig to push, could be interesting.

Besides Steve Cameron there was Roger Craig Jr., Gary Shaw and Robert Groden (no idea why someone who is economical with the truth is still given access to a platform like this ).

Roger Craig Jr. kicked things off claiming his dad was murdered in a rather emotional manner and I wasn’t too sure that this was a wise way of opening the panel talk like that, but it is what it is. Then he claimed that his dad was inside room 317 and that the photograph from Jesse Curry’s book was the proof.

Now I am not disputing his presence at Dallas P.D., but the photograph is not proof of Roger Craig’s visit. Here is the photograph in question.

The issue is that there is a tiny likeness, however after seeing other photos of this very same individual inside Room 317 of Robbery & Homicide of the Dallas Police Department below it is definitely not Roger Craig.

There is a small chance that the person noticed in these photos is Secret Service agent Charles Kunkel. But Vince Palamara said that cannot be since Kunkel was not in Dallas on Nov 22nd and these photos by Jim Murray and the Fort Worth Star Telegram were taken around 6 PM that day. At this point I would say nothing further than this man is a government agent, but it is not Roger Craig.

There is however other great evidence showing that Craig arrived inside Room 317. Like this James Bookhout report from Nov. 23rd.

Furthermore there is Jesse Curry talking to the press in the corridor of the 3rd floor of City Hall. where the D.P.D. resided. He does not quote Craig by name, but he does relay Craig’s story.

Craig was there, but it is not the man seen in the photograph from Jesse Curry’s book. Just wanted to set that record straight once and for all.
