Up and Coming
Greetings to you all and I wish you all the best in health for 2026!
It has been a while. My job took ate my time, two years being in a extremely busy work environment with little time left for research.
Add on that my mom passsed away a short while ago late last year and that in conjunction with her estate took a fair bit of my focus as well.
Facebook deleted my Prayer Man page due to some suspicious activity of which I never got an explanation of what that actually was. I started a new one as my messages to them got no replies. If you wish to like or follow the new page, it is HERE.
So what else is new?
KRLD, the local Dallas radio & TV station and CBS affiliate was omni present that day, they recorded a lot of audio and film that weekend. I have posted a significant amount at my YouTube channel already. These clips were passed on to me by Kenneth Zediker, of JFK Lancer. And boy is it a great collection. These are in 4K quality and the totality of it is probably about 20 hours. KRLD had two cameras on tripods inside the third floor corridor of the City Hall building, where the DPD had some of their offices, after Oswald was being transfered to for his interrogations. There are quite a few long sequences of activity there. The footage show the comings and goings of camera men (Jimmy Darnell being one of them), reporters (Seth Kantor), law enforcement (Curry, Fritz, Leavelle and many others), Dallas City offficials (Wade & Alexander) and in the distance you can see people going in and out of Room 317 which was the Homicide & Robbery Bureau. In the William Murray photo below; Will Fritz’s office is inside on the right where David Johnston is standing in front of the window with its blinds shut and the DPD detectives are in the doorway.

Room 317: Homicide & Robbery. Behind the lettering is Eric Beck, then Bill Alexander, James Hosty and David Johnston. Photo: William Murray.
The beauty of these clips lies that they can confirm what I have been already writing about in my book based on the law enforcement officials’ reports. And this will be quite a task to go through, but it has been very rewarding already.
A few things I can mention is that I came across an Oswald corridor sequence which I did not know of before. Curry, Fritz, King and Wade interviews. The Ruby shooting from a different angle. The Oswald press conference. But the most fascinating fact of this footage is that it feels like going through CCTV footage where you see all these dozens (not hundreds!) of people walking that corridor, the mannerisms (smoking!) on display and the off the cuff remarks while the mic is on and close-by. At some point the phrase Manchurian Candidate is uttered between newsmen.
This brings me to one of its disadvantages, and that is that microphones were wired and not always switched on so or not close enough to capture their voices. There are some sequences where no audio is captured. One example is a minutes long segment with Bill Alexander talking to a few reporters right in front of the camera, it would have been quite a coup capturing his audio while ‘informing’ the press.
I will speak about this footage at the next DPUK seminar in Ashorne Hill (June 26-28) and following that I will add these findings, alongside some many other bits, to the next edition of Prayer Man, More Than A Fuzzy Picture. I have no clue as to when that will be done, in case you are wondering when that might be. All I can say, at this point, is that I have about 100 additional sources to add.
Then from the recent releases, and I mean recent as in getting barely any mention in the press about them at all Malcolm Blunt pointed me to the missing FBI documents residing at Rex Bradford’s Mary Ferrell website. These are most interesting, not much regarding my own research, but really deserve a closer look as there is a fair bit to check out.
And there was about three weeks ago a little email exchange between some the JFK Assassination research bigwigs and one indivdual had noted that the amount of documents released last year in March had increased in totality. No news update or mention about it as far as I can tell. And after checking 137 PDFs had been added to the total of the March 2025 releases. These records mostly concern records of the Church Committee. So the first 14 pages are new additions. Just so you know.
Last but not least, I was interviewed last week for Ciphered Past by Tim Gardner and Eli Frame. Thank you for having me.

Summer 2021 Update
Summer 2021 Update
Ok so this year I did a lot of scanning of Malcolm Blunt’s materials for a soon to be fully accessible archive in Nov 2021. There is a lot of material to plough through if you are a student of certain facets of the JFK Assassination. Law Enforcement Agencies, Committees and various individuals all connected in this case are all well represented in this archive. If you have read a decent amount of books on this matter then this archive can help you gain more additional knowledge.
By the time of its primary release I think I have about 150.000 pages over about 17,000 PDFs ready to be shared. The work will continue for at least another year with regular updates.
I am going to slow down on scanning for the next few months so I can tidy some bits up in the archives and also put the focus back on my own work and this website. I will put the finishing touches to my forthcoming releases of the four(!) Anatomy papers for starters. They have been dormant for most of this year and some of 2020 as well. I hope to have all this done before the anniversary or it will be a X-Mas release read instead.
In November there will be an article written and photographed by me and published in Garrison Magazine, the article will have exclusive pictures I have made of Malcolm and his archive these past three years.
I am also creating a set of videos in which Malcolm and I are having a chat about his materials. So far two have been posted and I hope to do a few more over the next few months.
Then there are also some talks scheduled such as JFK Lancer, DPUK and Project JFK in November where I will speak in great depth about the above mentioned project and its vast content.
I have some more articles in the pipeline, such as the Minox camera and Oswald’s fingerprints and once I get my papers finished then I shall be developing those articles as well.
And last but not least the movies, which I hope to make a begin with early next year.
Plenty to get on with.
Best regards.
Bart.

Thanks to Malcolm Blunt I have been handed a document on Wesley Liebeler, who was one of the senior lawyers of the W.C. And although this document has been described at 22november1963.org.uk , there is no active link to the document itself. Liebeler is ploughing through and raises his questions, offers feedback and proposes amendments to Chapter IV of the Warren Report dated Sept. 6th 1964. Compared to the date that the Warren Report was issued to L.B.J. on Sept 24th 1964. Not that much notice was given to Liebeler’s remarks since not a lot changed in those 18 days.
Ladies and gents have a good read, as some of his observations are golden.
What is mentioned by Wesley Liebeler are: the rifle, the finger/palm prints on the boxes, Buell Wesley Frazier, the description of Oswald after his departure from the T.S.B.D., Amos Euins, questioning the 2nd floor encounter, Victoria Adams’ descent, the bus ride, the line-ups, the revolver, the arrest at the T.T., Johnny Calvin Brewer, Walker shooting, Marin Oswald, the rifle scope and its firing tests.
Even though the document is mentioned at the site above, you only get to read a summarisation, whereas now you have the whole thing at your own leisure.
I love the ending of the document: “I forgot to mention that some question might be raised when the public discovers that there was only one eyewitness to the Tippit killing, i/e one person who saw him kill him. All the rest only saw subsequent events. Mrs. Markham is nicely buried there, but I predict not for long.”

- These are enlarged pictures from contact sheets from the Holland McCombs collection.
- They were taken in 1964 (Jerry Lewis’ movie The Patsy is playing at the T.T., oh the irony).
- I have no idea who the photographer was.
- I would like to know who the individual is in front of the Texas Theatre. And no it’s not Dean Andrews!
- I don’t know whether that’s Trauma Room 1, if anyone knows then I am all ears.
