Could be. Maybe, having just come outside from working, Oswald is in the process of adjusting/buttoning his shirt and his sleeves are still rolled up.

He's quite obviously holding something.  The white/bright blob/shape moves with him and is in different positions in different frames but it is always there.

I'd be willing to bet my right testicle that it's a camera.  That's how confident I am.

Damn good point, Lee. That bottom image shows the white blob away from the top of heater behind the glass inside. It looks to be something.

This image also lends credence to my revisied calcs to try to determine the level of the top step/first floor, as the distance from the top of the window to the top of the heater would not be affected by the white blob.     

If someone wants to double check the Martin, Hughes and Towner films because I'm convinced I've seen at least one flash, in one or more of the films, coming from that doorway.

Not really convenient for me to check right now.

err, above I meant PM is leaning to his right (our left). If that's Oswald holding a camera, I wonder what happens to it. LHO wasn't booked with one and there wasn't one in the rooming house search inventory.

No, they didn't.  But I don't believe he lived at the rooming house so whatever they found there was planted there by them and I doubt they'd want it on the inventory.  In addition we have plenty of shell games with the cameras he did own and his equipment.

I thought at first he was holding a begging bowl...I mean with that poxy wage and all those expenses.....

Just one more opinion, but I agree with Lee that PM is standing one step down from the landing.  I also agree with Colin that he is leaning (in my opinion, very slightly) against the wall to his right.  If he was filming, it would make perfect sense for him to want to brace/steady himself by slightly leaning against a wall.

That was the basis of the work done by Linda Z before she got caught up in political dog fights across the country. Her work involved measuring the distance between hands and finding the dimentions of the imperial reflex allegedly owned by LHO and finding that everything matched up. 

I always had a niggling doubt simply because i never believed her owned the Inperial Reflex. But the measurements did seem fairly persuasive. Now I'd have to say a new doubt arises as to what she thought were the hands. It never occurred to ask her at the time.
