When causes cease to move one's heart and cynicism rises to the fore, arms won't raise in pain's angered art nor blast the blighters evermore. Tongues turned terse oft opinions stirred no longer join the common cry, curses bit back, refrain from bitter word; passions crested, before, now die. And does the counter-reformation stink as boldly 'neath the summer's sun as when winter's candle paused to think bitter foundations were surely done. Lock-and-load gaze now transfixed, blurred vision is failing feeble trials contrite while deep in bosom, still whisper words waiting patient for a call to fight.

I really like it. One of your best, IMO. | |
