The Polka Dot File is a gem in the field of RFK assassination research. As an LA-based reporter, Fernando Faura was pursuing key witnesses and gathering evidence in the early hours of the case. He did his groundbreaking work despite constant interference by the LAPD and FBI. Now almost a half-century later, Faura is back with this step-by-step, eye-opening description of his work and where it led. Read it and learn.” -Jim Douglass, author, JFK and the Unspeakable

I got all excited it was available. Been waiting ages to read more from him. It should be a very interesting read. When I read Shane O'Sullivan's book and someone eles (I forget), the section dealing with Faura and his Polka Dot investigation was a revelation. There's some bad company at Trine Day who i won't mention but hopefully he will raise their standards. I'm very glad he has picked up on his earlier work.

I'm most of the way through this book. Finding it very interesting so far. I think it's a positive thing that Faura has concentrated on the aspect he investigated at the time rather than rehashing the general details of the case. It's very much about the girl in the polka dot dress and Fahey and other witnesses interactions with her and less about the details of the RFK assassination (ballistics, Manchurian Candidates etc etc).
