I don’t like showing off, but today is a special day for me, because it marks the third anniversary of my being a member of ROKC. Despite some lows (such as the times the Fez and Billy Brown decided to show up and troll on us), it has been a truly positive and inspiring experience. The biggest highlights for me since I first became a member of this great forum were witnessing Sean Murphy lay out the evidence for Oswald being “Prayer Man,” reading through the brilliant and thought provoking research by the likes of Greg, Lee, Ed, Mick, and Bart, and being able to meet and shake hands with Greg, Mick, and others at the ROKC conference. On a more personal level, I have accomplished much of what I intended; such as writing and publishing my essays on Gerald Hill, Larry Crafard, the 112th MIG etc. But there is much more work to be done.

For those of you who don’t know, the reason why I joined ROKC when I did was because of Greg and Lee. I had been closely following their research at the “old” ROKC forum and on the Ed forum, and was blown away by much of it. In particular, I was very impressed by Greg’s dismantling of the second floor lunchroom encounter fairy tale; and Lee’s dismantling of the bus and taxi ride fairy tales. I also witnessed how well they worked together even when they disagreed with each other on certain issues (there are so many people out there who could learn from them in that regard). They have been a huge inspiration to me and my research; as have so many others here.

Thnaks mate. I have trouble remembering my own birthday, let alone when I joined what forum.

Hopefully we can meet up again this year and maybe even find a way to get you in front of a mike - maybe as part of a panel or something...

Also hopefully we can look at winding things up soon after...

I hope so, Greg. I reckon I should be okay being part of a panel. It will be less pressure on me than going up in front of a mike all by myself.

Thanks for the kind words, Hasan.  It's a great feeling knowing I've helped someone else develop themselves.  Some of the work you have put together is truly great and I know how much effort it takes to produce work like that.  It's difficult, time consuming, energy sapping and sometimes, as you recently have done, you begin to question whether it is worth it.

It is worth it.  Because one day someone will write something saying that Hasan Yusuf inspired them to do their own research and become actively involved in this sort of stuff.  Being mentioned in the same sentence alongside Greg will always instil in me a sense of pride.  That guy knows how I really feel about him.  He's a legend in my eyes.

I'll be honest with you.  Since saying I was getting back in the saddlle I've been sat wondering where to start.  I love the pure research side of things - piecing and pasting together the bits of information and trying to make sense of it. But I've been thoroughly lost over the last couple of weeks trying to find a point for me to continue.  Inevitably, after all the hard work - we end up arguing with utter pricks - and I can't say I'm looking forward to that.

You resurrecting the Kenneth Croy thread and your continued research into him certainly gives me a glimpse into the part of all of this that I truly love.  That is being surrounded by helpful and supportive people who assist you in providing feedback, finding documents and generally challenging the way you think when you post something - and I really believe that everyone here knows how much time it takes to bring some of this stuff to the surface.  That is why ROKC ROCKS.

Seeing Jim D have yet another diva moment.  Reading more and more of Pugsley's ever changing lies.  Seeing Albert Fucking Doyle chat utter fucking bollocks for page after page after page after page.  And I could go on and on, seeing as how this "community" has some of the most fucked up people I've ever had the misfortune to know - well, this sort of stuff is the stuff of nightmares - and I have to say I haven't missed it for one second.

Once I find something to sink my teeth into - I'm going to do my best to avoid and ignore the timewasters that reside elsewhere.

It's a pleasure to know you, Hasan, and you've made some really good friends here.  Everyone at ROKC should raise a glass of Jack Daniels to your anniversary here - and then get utterly-shit faced finishing the bottle off.

Thank you, Lee. It's been a pleasure knowing you too, mate. I tell it as I honestly see it. You belong right up there with Greg. Dealing with utter pricks such as the Fez, Don vacant lot Jeffries, Albert dead man Doyle, Bill Brown etc. can be a nightmare. Although I have often thought about leaving the research behind because of all the stress, what ALWAYS keeps me going can be summed up in four letters; ROKC. You guys absolutely rock!!!

I'm with you Hasan, Greg and Lee were the ones who got me here too, they are the inspiration. If I hadn't come here I would've missed out on the likes of Ed, your good self and all of the other great researchers here. And so that list grows.

Happy anniversary Hasan may there be many more. Love your work mate.

Looking forward to your next installment.

as you and I have discussed privately, Mick, somehow the right group of individuals stumbled into this place at the right time. We've had our ructions - our ups and downs, as well as quite a few laughs, but I can say I've learned as much about human interaction and myself as I have about the case.

I only hope we can all hold it together long enough to reach the finish line. At least we know there is one - and where it is.

It really is a shame we cuss too much.........but if there wasn't as many wankers knocking about....

This place is the first stop for cutting edge research. For some, it's all too much. Seeing their idols or ideas laid to waste is traumatizing.

Like Hasan, i too gained an interest from the bus thread. More importantly, i learned how some forums operate. How VIP bullshitters are indulged and protected for instance. Spinning on the spot is expected. And funniest of all....when you're told the sky is mauve, you cannot respond with, liar

This forum, as i have said before, is the equivalent of a porn site. You all watch but are a little ashamed to admit it. Face it though, how the fuck are you going to learn otherwise..

The bus thread bought me here too. That was an eye opener. Lee and Greg were the coolest posters at the E.F. Refreshingly cool, calm and didn't take any shit. And they were fucking funny too. Congrats Hasan. I hold you in high regard too as a researcher and look forward to what you offer. I don't drink spirits but I raise you a glass of cider mate. Cheers
