accused only of nesting where the hatching plot was come -

the first female to hang to death seemed to bother none.

Recruited into intelligence, that oxymoron of the near-great,

Lee was used in several schemes to fan the red-toned hate;

when caught up like Booth in schemes, left him to his fate:

buried truth with victim in a rush, truth would have to wait.

Bennedict, Leon, Ray, and Charlie, dastards all set in stone,

causes one to wonder mightily: for which sins did they atone?

Perhaps the one of convenience, getting on with making do,

to make this land a better place for the likes of me and you.

Even though I don't get all the references, it's so well put together the sentiment rings clear and true for me.

As close to perfect as it gets.
