from evils he rues foully beset,

but blamed on others' scorn regret.

Self-deployed the wretch rents wrecks

to Glasgow's newest proclaimed elite,

rents arranged allayed in kinky sects

or groveling at his unwashed feet.

Wallace, wisely disemboweled, hanged

and quartered to fit an English palate -

Dunc's a two-bit whore and I'll be danged

if worth even flushing down the toilet.

The Warring of the Forums

Vacant Lot has made his piece

but will never clean up his mess;

McStinker's dressed in tartan fleece

to rail at the awful unjustness -

his mama's in the kitchen lickening

the taste straight from the spoon;

Burnham's minions reeling, sickening

as summoned by host to the War Room.

Their loins are girded against the foe:

that bracken-beastie long since sought;

not Dulles nor Hoover, those evils we know

but the REAL enemy that needs be fought:

another forum whose rabble do rouse

many to demand finer script be coined

than vulgar banter - no matter whose house -

weapons in hand, the game is enjoined.

They rail against the toss-pot home

claim IT the wicked enemy source,

though all still claim unventuresome:

can quote each latest tour-de-force.

Complaints range across the scale

from vulgarity to... well, that's enough

to shun those to beyond the pale

before they reveal some other stuff.

DJ and doppel-DJ conspire in deep thread

to oust all those who side in the park;

those parkers must be treated as dead,

they claim and raise rally cry, all hark!

Such callous effrontery demands quick strike

against those who should make such stinks:

new research, new thoughts, and the like

and even provide damned working links!!

Research and forums must be held close

and not allowed to be a freely-ranger,

just think of all the troubles arose

and place the groups in mortal danger.

Keeping heads down ('tween knees preferred)

and not rocking the authority's boat -

will allow long life to spread the word

and keep alive the researchers' hope.

Vulgarity is the agreed upon battle cry -

nought else is found that can heap abuse

upon those nor so completely unify

the forums against the lead they refuse.

Like any classic LN tactic: stick to just

a single item, only the one in exclusion

of any honesty, rationality; singular thrust

and hope the unwary buy into the illusion.

Outsiders may glimpse this strange tableau

of the forums attacking each other, wonder...

off-putting it may seem to many such who go

without questioning this martial blunder:

turned-off, they will ALL forums rebuke,

and seek for other ways to pass the day,

except those whose vision is more astute

and those are the ones we want, anyway.
