Anyone else seen this?

I think it is excellent, probabaly one of the best docus I have ever seen. It's not so much the content which everyone is well familiar with but the actual execution of the storyline and the registration of Snowden's emotions while it is all happeneing.

This is close, so fucking close...... damn.

the only letdown is the camera, it keeps going in/out of focus which is a bit off putting, other than that I thought it was a great watch

I've seen it also, Bart, and agree with your opinions. It was real fly on the wall film making and I am glad it got the Oscar cause hopefuly now more people will get to see it.

Sadly I think most just won't give a fuck. We know they are collecting our data can effectively track our movements anytime they want to but we're too busy trying to make ends meet to even care about it. There is a certain resignation in our psychology. It is almost like we are letting them do whatever and however because their isn't much we can do about it. anyway. We elected them because we have no choice. In Australia both major parties have passed through a 2 year metadata law. It doesn't matter who you vote for these laws are here to stay. Gotta love freedom and democracy. These laws are a disgrace.

Regretably, I have to agree with all you say here, Paul.

Yes Paul and Greg, the entire thing is a mess, but in all honesty the second we all went digital it was to be expected somehow from the intel community.

But the blanket collection of it all and the lack of oversight, mind boggling indeed.
